The Beach Story…

This is again one of my mad stories, but my first rendezvous with beach was so inspirational , that I couldn’t help but write about it. Beaches , I think are the most beautiful of all nature’s wonders, at night when the shore has an aura of calmness,  you can hear the rhythmic waves, the sound of which gives you Elysian peace. It is extremely enthralling and silently teaches us many lessons for life. But today I’m not going to describe those lessons to you, instead, I would love to narrate a story that the waves told me as I stood there barefoot, the waves came , touched my feet and receded.

The waves tell a tragic tale , no matter how hard they try to unite with the land , they always remain separated by a line.

So, here’s the story:

The Waves tell the perfect story of an one sided love…the Waves keep expressing their unconditional love for the Land and continue their incessant efforts to make land realize the verity of its love. During its innumerable attempts to hug the Land the Waves keep taking away a part of the Land (the sand) with them , hoping that they would stay together, but the effort goes in vain as every time the sand sinks to the bottom.

And the Land has its own reasons not to believe the Waves, it feels that every time the Waves recedes , it returns as a different entity than what it was before…it is in the nature of Waves (water) to change. This property is what makes it stand aside and it can not be altered, grief lies in the nature of water.

But what happens is that due to this untold story of Waves and the Land…the Beach is created, as a result of Waves’ efforts and Lands’ denial to accept the Waves (warna tsunami wali situation ho jati 😀 ), the beach is born and thus arises a irony- born out of sadness but providing happiness so many others (humans) . That is the beach story.

Mad it is , I know…but giving it more thought I think it is the same way with most of the natural resources…if all of them could be personified this way , they all have a similar story to tell, a story of sacrifice, sacrifice for humans who are so callous and deafened by the noise in their lives that they fail to see the simple fables told by nature. The stories are being told everywhere, but we are not listening. So,my advice would be – go with a peaceful mind and LISTEN.  🙂

Nature has a lot to tell.
